How to Buy Crypto?
 

Directly Buying Cryptos
 

Follow the steps below if you are interested in buying crypto directly and in holding custody of those assets yourself.
 

1. Download and install the Tale Wallet app

   You will need a self-custody wallet to store the crypto tokens you buy and Tale Wallet happens to be such a solution. Our app is available in play store so download and install our app from the link below:}

2. SignUp with Tale Wallet

   
   Once you have installed the app, you will need to create an account with tale wallet
   
   
   
   Click on the ‘Get Started’ button on the Onboarding screen
   
   
   
   
   
   Click on the Create Account button following that
   
   
   
   
   You will be prompted to enter your email id for the new account. Enter that and click send ‘OTP option’
   
   
   
   
   Confirm the OTP you received in your email on the next screen
   Your app will take some time, about 1-2 min to create a wallet and then you should see the home screen. Congrats You have created a DeFi wallet and are now ready to buy some cryptos
   
    

3. Select Your Token

   
   
   
   If you have already made up your mind as which token you want to buy then you will be able to select that from the list of tokens available in the ‘Explore Token’ section on home screen
   
   Right now Tale Wallet only allows user to purchase top 15 tokens by market capitals.
   Click on any of the token you want to purchase and then on the Buy button.
   
   
   
   
   Conversely, you can click on the Buy button at the top in the home screen and then select the.
   
    

4. ONRAMP PAYMENT

   
   
   You will be prompted with ONRAMP money screen where you may enter the amount you want to purchase
   
   
   
   
   Next ONRAMP money will ask you to confirm the wallet address. This will be the wallet address of your wallet. You can cross verify this from your wallet screen
   
   
   
   
   Next if you havn’t completed KYC with the ONRAMP solution then they will ask you for your phone number
   
   
   
   
   Once all of this is done, they will display the UPI id on which you can make the payment. Make sure to include the NOTE as mentioned in this screen when you are making the payment.
    

5. Payment Confirmation

   Once you have completed the payment, the Crypto asset will be credited to your account from the ONRAMP money solution into your Tale Wallet. This may take from 5 mins to 6 hrs as per network congestion.

Invest through Crypto Basket

If you are not sure about which token to buy then you can gain exposure to the crypto asset through the Crypto Basket feature. Crypto Baskets are a group of top-performing Crypto tokens centered around a theme.

The first few steps remain the same as mentioned above.
 

1. Download the Tale Wallet app and Install
    
2. Create an account with Tale Wallet as mentioned above.
    
3. Select the Crypto Basket you want to subscribe to
    
4. This will automatically redirect you to the OnRamp money page with the wallet address, crypto token and the min-amount selected.
   
   
   
   Please note that the token purchased from ONRAMP money to execute the transactions will be a single token and once the fiat-to-crypto transaction is completed, then separate transactions will execute to automatically divide the single token into multiple tokens as per the Crypto Basket configurations
